Episode 3: Catfight Central
Previously on Kensington Way:
-No
one was hurt from the car accident, except for Bryant who had lost control
of Jamie's car and crashed it onto Debra's lawn.
-Jamie gets depressed when she sees a loving family together and thinks of
how she lost her parents in a plane crash. When she gets back to Bryant's
house she sees the accident and quickly worries about Bryant.
-After it turns out that Debra was a doctor, she checks his pulse and his
gash, and determines that he will be okay. Bryant and Debra sort of share
a moment together.
-Shanna digs her claws further into Timothy by showing up at his place and
then leading him into the bedroom.
-Bryant misses a call from Shanna but Jamie retrieves it and tells Bryant,
that she thinks that Shanna is bad news and he better stay away from her.
-Dravis has another dream about Vanessa, and this time he is going to a classy
bar, where he met Tony Viscanni, and their meeting turns into a fist fight.
When Dravis wakes up, Tiffany wonders about having him commited.
- Shanna has already drawn up divorce papers and forces Tim to serve them
to Debra, they go over to Debra's place and hand them to her, but will she
do it?
Scene
1 (Debra
looks at Timothy with a confusing look on her face.) Do
you understand everything? I
don't understand how the hell you could have drawn these papers up so
fast. I
didn't do it. Let
me guess your skanky secretary did. Not only is she good at ruining
marriages but she is also good at doing paper work. Then again I don't
think that is how she got job in the first place. I'm
not here to argue with you. Then why are you here? Do you just want to kick me when I'm down? You both are good at that.
Shanna: Is
everything okay in here? We're
not done talking sweetie so why don't you let the grown ups talk and
go on with your little tart ways. Excuse
me? Girls
that is enough! (Debra
turns away from Timothy and Shanna shuts the door lightly.) Timothy: I don't have much time. Are you going to sign the papers or what?
Deb? I bet that this is what you would like. To have me sign away our marriage. Just so you and your little slut can ride off into the sunset.
I'm
not going to ask again.
Debra: (sternly)
Timothy:
Debra:
(Not caring to have the last word in their intense and heated conversation, Timothy leaves, slamming the door behind him. Shanna seems very excited with a hopeful smile on her face.)
Shanna:
(Timothy pulls out the wad of paper and hands it to her.)
Shanna:
(Shanna and Timothy leave the premise and Debra is stricken with grief in what used to be Timothy's home too. While she is still in the living room she falls down to her knees crying. She can only be thankful that no one is around to see how she is acting. She always wants to come off as the strong woman who gives witty remarks to people who deserved it, people like Shanna. Debra feels even more alone than she already was.) Debra: (with tears streaming out of her eyes) How can I fight for my husbands love? I've lost him for good. I'm a loser! ___________________________________________________________ Scene 2:
(Jamie goes over to Dravis's house, hoping to spend some quality time with her new crush, and by doing so she is wearing a black mini skirt and a tight purple sweater. She was hoping to attract some attention from Dravis. She brushes her hair with her fingers and then quickly rings the door bell. Dravis opens it and his eyes are sort of in shock.) Dravis:

(Tiffany comes downstairs and notices Jamie and Dravis together.) Jamie: (to Tiffany)
Tiffany:
(Tiffany eyes up Jamie and thinks to herself that she is nothing but a little girl who is playing a little too much with her mother's make up, but she would not be so rude as to say something like that.) Tiffany:

Jamie:
(Jamie begins to leave again and Dravis tries hard not to laugh at what just happened. Tiffany goes into the refrigerator and pulls out a creamy slice of lemon maragine pie.) Tiffany:
(Jamie turns around digusted.) Jamie:
(Right before Tiffany hands it to her, she lets go of it and it drops to the floor, all over Jamie's high heeled shoes.) Tiffany:
(Dravis isn't laughing anymore.) Dravis:
(Jamie is being held back from Dravis as she wants to take a swing at Tiffany but can't.) Tiffany:
(Tiffany exits.) ___________________________________________________________ Scene 5 (Dravis's Foyer) (Dravis walks Jamie out as she is furious at the ugly scene that has just went on.) Jamie: (sarcastic)

(Dravis opens the door for Jamie and she begins to walk out, but then stops. She turns around to face Dravis.) Jamie:
Dravis:
(Jamie swoops in for a hug and then leaves. Dravis shuts the door and doesn't feel as awkward as he should. Tiffany from the distance surveyed the whole scene and was not happy with what she saw.) Tiffany: (to herself)
___________________________________________________________ Scene 6 (Bryant's Living Room) (Bryant picks up his phone and dials Debra's number, the one that he got from Shanna, obviously she knew the number well when she had to talk to Timothy. A very tired sounding Debra answers the phone.) Bryant:

People are dressed from fancy to semi-fancy as they eat elegant Italian food. Debra and Bryant sit at a table with a small candle light in between them.) Bryant:

Bryant:
(All of a sudden Debra notices Timothy walk in with Shanna. They were dressed almost identical. Everything they were wearing was in black. Sort of like the color of their souls, Debra thought to herself.) Debra:
